A layer with an eye in the box is visible and a layer with an empty box is hidden. To show or hide a layer, click the box to the left of the layer’s name to toggle its visibility. You can turn off a layer in Bluebeam from the Layers tab. Using layers gives you the added advantage of toggling the visibility of specific layers, turning some off, and others on, to create different views. To turn off markups in Bluebeam, simply switch to the View mode. You can switch between the two modes using the Revu Menu as shown below.
How do you switch to markup mode in Bluebeam?
Markup mode allows full access to Bluebeam features. During a Studio session, in View mode, you cannot add files to the session even though they have access to many of the Markup and Tool Set features normally reserved for licensed users. In View mode, you can use Measurement Tools, join Studio Sessions, and view documents.
